The internationally renowned Celtic teacher, John Philip Newell, will speak on the themes of his new book, The Great Search: Turning to Earth & Soul in the Quest for Healing & Home in the context of the devastating wildfires of Los Angeles - inviting us through word, music, symbol and song to grieve our losses and reimagine our future.
You are invited to bring with you a symbol or photograph representing what has been lost - or a remnant or object from the ashes of your home - and place it by the altar of hope at the front of the church as we lament the sufferings of Earth and humanity and yearn for the way forward together.
This will be an Interfaith experience and all are welcome!
Books will be available for purchase. A reception will follow from 8:30-9:00 p.m.
The gathering will be live-streamed here. No registration is required; simply click on the link at the time of the event.
