You are invited to join in the Earth Day celebrations at the Reeves Theater in Elkin, NC on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for the North Carolina premiere of John Philip Newell's film Hebridean Treasure. Experience the film version of the live-stage dance, music, and song performance by some of Scotland's most talented young artists which tells the story of Celtic spirituality and its love of Earth through the lens of the western isles of Scotland. This native wisdom, which treasures the sacredness of Earth and every human being, is urgently needed today for the healing of the world in which we live.
The evening begins with live Celtic music in the Reeves Theater Cafe at 5:30 PM; the film will begin at 7:30 PM. (An optional facilitated discussion will follow.) Reserved seating tickets may be purchased for $10 at www.reevestheater.com/events. All proceeds will enable live-stageperformances and support young artists and musicians. You may also visit www.earthandsoul.org/hebridean-treasure to contribute to Hebridean Treasure.
Special thanks to the Reeves Theater for hosting, the Motsingers and Stewarts for sponsoring, and our team in Elkin, NC for organizing this Earth Day celebration.
