June 2024 News from Earth & Soul

Greetings to each of you as we enter into the season of summer in the northern hemisphere and winter in the southern hemisphere. In these distinct seasons of much light and less light may we be reminded to look for the light in everyone and in all things and to know the light we carry within. We are grateful for each of you in the Earth & Soul community as we share together in teaching and spiritual practice and listen both as individuals and collectively to how we are being called to compassionate action. 

We are looking forward to Earth & Soul’s July events and retreats and invite you to join us. A new event has recently been added at the National Cathedral in Washington DC in addition to Celtic Wisdom 3at Hartford International University in Hartford, CT and a retreat weekend at Genesis Spirituality Center in Westfield, MA. Please note we are always updating the events page so check back often.

We invite you to take time in the coming weeks to begin each day with the prayer below. Pause with your hand on your heart and listen to what is stirring within you. Throughout your day bring your awareness to the Light within all light everywhere and in everyone. May you know also the Light that is within you.

Light within all light
Soul behind all souls
at the breaking of dawn
at the coming of day
we wait and watch.
Your Light within the morning light
Your Soul within the human soul
Your Presence beckoning to us from the heart of life.
In the dawning of this day
let us know fresh shinings in our soul.
In the growing colours of new beginning all around us
let us know the first lights of our heart.
Great Star of the morning
Inner flame of the universe
let us be a colour in this new dawning.
